How to Install

Everything you need to go from download to a working offline copy of a website.

1 — Download & Run

  1. Log in with Discord from the Home page.
  2. Press DOWNLOAD EXE and save SiteCloner.exe anywhere you like (Desktop is fine).
  3. It’s a single file: there is nothing to install.

2 — First Launch

  1. Double-click SiteCloner.exe. The red animated interface opens in a few seconds.
  2. If Windows SmartScreen appears because the app is not signed, click More info → Run anyway.
  3. If a green WebView2 error shows, it means the runtime is missing: install WebView2 Runtime from Microsoft (free, one-time).

3 — Clone a Website

  1. Paste the full address of the site (for example https://esempio.com) into the white field.
  2. Press CLONE NOW — the dark terminal below shows a progress bar.
  3. Wait for DONE. Big sites can take a few minutes.

4 — Where Files Land

  1. Files are saved in Desktop → clone → <site>.
  2. The structure mirrors the original: same folders, images, styles, fonts and scripts.
  3. You can move the folder anywhere; the copy keeps working.

5 — Open Offline

  1. Open index.html with a double-click: the site opens from your disk, even without internet.
  2. Every internal link was automatically rewritten and points to local files.

6 — Troubleshooting

  1. Paywall / login required — the cloner can only copy public pages.
  2. Empty or broken site — the source may block bots. Try again later.
  3. Very large site — be patient or clone a single page instead.
  4. For anything else, contact support on Discord.

7 — Legal Notice

  1. Clone only websites you own or that you are allowed to download.
  2. You are responsible for the content you download and how you use it.
